We recently caught up with our bookkeeper, Tiffany, to pick her brains and find out what makes her tick.
What's your role at Complete HQ?
Accountant, I say that loosely– more of a bookkeeper!
What led you to this career?
When I lived in Leamington Spa I sort of fell into an accounts position. I was also offered a position at a funeral home so things could have been completely different! I definitely made the right choice!
Are you more productive in the mornings, afternoons or evenings? Why?
Morning, there's nothing like your first coffee to energize you for the day... then lunch seems to be McDonald's, then it's all downhill from there!
What energizes you outside of work?
My 4-year-old, Jude... I'm very fortunate to be able to work part-time so I can work around Jude... we can go to nice places and explore... He's on the go ALL day.
If you could take a month to travel anywhere, where would you go?
I'd probably travel as much around the world as I can, I love to make a plan! I'd head to the giraffe hotel in Kenya as a first stop and then travel to as many countries on the way to America as possible. Maybe when Jude's a bit older it's a possibility...
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
I wanted to join the Navy or be a midwife. Midwife got ruled out because I don't really do first aid/blood or touching people... but the Navy has never really been ruled out. I got dates to start when I finished college but went in another direction however, the reserves is always a possibility! It'll be good for fitness levels as well (run the McDonald's off whilst training for a marathon before I'm 30!)
What’s one of your favourite memories from the past year?
Moving into our new house, modernising it and being able to put our own stamp on it. Very excited for the extension to be built!
What song are you currently listening to on repeat?
Any of Olivia Rodrigues's songs are on repeat in my car.
What's your favourite outdoor activity?
Going to the beach. If the sea is calm, I'll get my paddleboard out.
